7 Checks Before an Agency Buys Final Expense Leads for a Team

← Final expense lead buying guides

For agency owners, team leaders and imo/fmo buyers

Team buying adds routing, accountability and capacity decisions to the usual vendor questions. Use these checks before placing an order for multiple producers or distributing leads across an organization.

  1. Count staffed seats, not roster names

Identify who is trained and available during delivery. An agent on the roster is not necessarily ready to receive a live opportunity.

  2. Match routing to authority and availability

Document states, product access, working hours and backup coverage for each producer. Ask the vendor which routing controls it actually supports.

  3. Set written acceptance criteria

Define the purchased format, audience, geography, sharing and remedy process. Make the same criteria available to the person buying and the agents receiving delivery.

  4. Name a compliance owner

Assign responsibility for reviewing consent records, suppression, scripts and follow-up practices. Put unresolved provider questions in front of that person before launch.

  5. Separate provider defects from execution gaps

Track invalid records and routing issues separately from unanswered calls, missed callbacks and sales objections. Each problem needs a different fix.

  6. Review cohorts by source and agent

Use consistent date windows and denominators. Avoid comparing an experienced full-time producer with a new part-time agent without accounting for their different operating conditions.

  7. Plan capacity before increasing volume

Review placements, servicing workload, persistency and chargebacks as data becomes available. Reorder at a pace your team can handle rather than using more leads to cover an unresolved process problem.
